Add the following to The Mosaic

Every Tile has a Gild Score between 1 and 9 and by default is 1.

If a Tile’s Inlay is a number between 1 and 9, it is considered to be Gilded and its Gild Score is equal to its Inlay. Otherwise it’s Gild Score is 1. If the Gild Score of a Gilded Tile changes, its Inlay changes to match its new Gild Score.

If a Gilded Tile has a Common Material, and its Gild Score its greater than 1, its Inlay is set to 1.

If a Gilded Tile has a Uncommon Material, and its Gild Score its greater than 4, its Inlay is set to 4.

add the following to the list of Tile Actions

Gild: Set the Inlay of a Tile without an Inlay to 2 or increase the Gild Score of a Gilded Tile by 1. When performing this action, a Monk may spend additional Guilders. For each Guilder spent, increase the Gild Score of the selected tile by an additional 1.

in “Desiderata” replace

A Colour’s Prominence is equal to the number of other Colours which appear fewer times than it on the Mosaic.

with

A Colour’s Score is equal to sum of the Gild Score of all Tiles on the Mosaic which have that Colour. A Colour’s Prominence is equal to the number of other Colours which has a lower Score.

Attempt to make materials and guilders more useful in the endgame

against This requires quite a bit of maths to see which colours are ahead at any given moment, compared to just looking at the mosaic colours.
