Proposal: Toot one’s own horn

In “Civil Titles”, replace all occurrences of “is a civil title held by” with “is a civil title that may be claimed by”.

In “Drops”, after “When an Architect Builds, they must make a comment to that effect on the Drop post whose Block they Built.”, add:

This comment may optionally name one civil title that the Architect wants to claim. If they are able to claim that civil title, that Architect then holds it.

imperial I don’t feel strongly about this. It’s a manifestation of my not-a-proposal on “Award Ceremony”.

Do you not like it because of the way it is phrased? I like what the rule is trying to do, maybe just rephrase it?

imperial Seems okay, but I think it needs the GNDT field proposed by Award Ceremony, to achieve what it’s trying to do. A player should be able to clearly see who (if anyone, including themselves) currently owns which title, when choosing which title to claim.

Is there a way to add a note on the Moon Sites wiki page, so we can note the title we’re claiming on there?

The proposal might read something like:

“If an architect thinks they have achieved one or more Civil Titles, they may edit the Moon Sites page to claim that title/s.

If any architect or the supervisor thinks any claim to a Civil Title is incorrect, they may make a call for judgment to that effect. If the call for judgment is found to be justified, any architect may make the necessary changes to the Moon Sites page.”

This would mean each architect is responsible for making a title claim, while everyone else is responsible for checking they got it right.

Would be fine to just say that “an Architect may claim a Civil Title they have achieved the criterion for, by updating the Moon Sites page” - the last paragraph of “Gamestate Tracking” already covers what to do about incorrect gamestate updates.
