Proposal: Stocktake

Replace “Strong Gin” with “Bottle of Gin” throughout the dynastic ruleset, replace “Beer Googles” with “Goggles”, replace “The Living Portal” with “The Picture Frame” and “the Portal” with “the Frame”, and replace “Sticky Taffy” with “Taffy”.

Add “The ” to the start of the name of any subrule of Artefacts which does not already start with “The “, and capitalise the first letter of every word in the names of those rules.

Had a different idea and realised it was redundant. Since I can’t delete a proposal but can only reword it, here’s a quick cleanup of the Artefact names and rule titles to make them all into neutrally-reported everyday items.

It’s always good to unify stuff, and the majority of names are “The [Mundane Object]” right now. Either the Institute gives these things descriptive adjectives or they don’t.

(Referring to objects like this is lifted directly from The Lost Room, which I enjoyed a lot for how much dramatic weight characters could throw around with statements about banal objects. “Tell Kreutzfeld I have the Glass Eye.”)
