I hope that yuri will be generous with the medicine; hopefully we can finally cure everyone now we’ve established a functioning colony. (This is an Economic Victory.) I can confirm that I’m a Cultist; the other is Darknight, which has already been confirmed by this week’s Investigation Results. Therefore, there are no Healthy or Wounded Cultists. (Also, yuri’s Healthy, and there are at least 3 others; although I have a higher contribution than yuri, that doesn’t count because I’m Infected.) I’m also pretty sure there are no unidlers who could have become Cultists in the meantime.

Rule 2.11.5: No More Cultists - When all Cultists are Fallen or Infected, the Leader must make a blog post stating this.

DC has not done so, so I’m going to wait for that before adding my vote.

It was probably the most widely-hated dynasty I’ve played. Even moreso than Rod’s meta, which I actually quite liked, even though I hated the Relics (originally, the idea was that a faction would win, and its rules would select a winner.)

I remember seeing the premise of Rodlen’s meta and going Ooh; it was just really inconvenient for me to play at the time. I’ve missed a number of dynasties that way.

Perhaps Yuri has learned from his mistakes, though ^_^

@ Darth. 1) The title of this post is a reference to a book by Senator Al Franken, as were the proposals Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them, and Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations.
2) That dynasty was not my fault. (a) I was away, on the other side of the atlantic, so I had limited internet access. (b) As you pointed out, I was the only player to win the dynasty that I joined, meaning I had the least experience of ANY emperor, ever. (c) The other players did nothing to stick to the theme.
3) I’m not keeping the dynasty, if this DoV passes. I’m giving it to ais for the following reasons. (a) I like his dynasty idea. (b) He helped me attain the level I’m at. (c) He had a higher contribution score than ALL other players (including me) combined. He deserves a win.

The Economic Victory condition reads:

If the Food and Water statistic is ever 100 or greater and there are at least four Healthy Survivors, then the human population has stabilized; The Healthy Survivor with the highest Contribution assumes leadership of a functioning tribe and achieves victory.

The Food and Water is currently 109.
Yuri is healthy Rodlen and Josh are also Healthy (along with several other Survivors)

Yuri has a Contribution of 140.  No other Healthy Survivor has a contribution greater than or equal to 140.

Therefore, Yuri has achieved victory.  The fact that there is still a Living Cultist (Rodlen) is irrelevant.

Actually, my interpretation of the ‘notwithstanding’ clause in the preceding rule to mean ‘unless some other rule contradicts this’ is apparently incorrect.  CoV.

Rodlen is not a Cultist, by the way; I tricked you all when I said the cultists were Rod and Qwaz. The Third Cultist is not Rod.

When did you say that? I don’t remember you making that comment. And how do we know Rodlen isn’t a Cultist?
