Proposal: King in Exile

If either or both of the UN Resolutions “Western Takeover Take 2” and “Western Reply” enacted, set the IE of Cuddlebeam to zero and change their Bloc to be Eastern.

A little encouragement to self-kill those resolutions, if it’s going to put the Eastern Bloc into a kingmaker role anyway.

If they pass, then this takes Cuddlebeam out of the UN in the same way that they took the Eastern Bloc out of it.

against its still 4 to 4. We’re just waiting for card to get off holiday to wrap everything up.

Though I must say it feels like the proper thing to do is to set everyone’s IE to -20, their recovery to 200, and continue to the third dynasty of pokes, called the “fallout dynasty”.

Not that I will vote for that.

There’s some incentive for individual Western CICs to support this proposal to give themselves more power in what would be the new slimline United Nations, if the named Resolutions enacted. (Which on current numbers would allow Cuddlebeam and Derrick to propose any victory condition and enact it, even if Card and Sesquipedalian were against it.)

And of course, any such Western CICs would probably pretend to be against this Exile proposal until Western Takeover Take 2 had enacted, before changing their vote to support it.
