With each accepted proposal, the submitting Tesserers power goes up by one half.

Knowledge is power, and as you spread your knowledge, your influence grows.

Doesn’t make a rule in the rule set, also since it only goes up by half a power it wouldn’t increase at all since power can only be integers and any rounding that needs to be done rounds down.

Even if it were proper ruletext I’d still be against it because it would make it appropriate for me and others to against each proposal, even if its one that makes the game more playable/interesting, just because there is a strategic advantage in denying Power.

against per cuddlebeam. Though its worth noting that rule is vanilla nomic rules.

The proper way to write this would have been:

“Create a rule named ‘Proposals’ with the text:

With each accepted proposal, the submitting Tesserer’s power goes up by one half.

I think he meant the power is multiplied by 1.5, not increased by 0.5. Anyways I agree with Cuddlebeam that a rule like this would be detrimental to the game.
