If CfJ: Forgot to Save my Thesis has not been enacted, enact it.
In the rule Theses, change the steps in the atomic action Declare Dominion over Randomness to read as follows:
- Make a post to the blog publicly declaring their Thesis
- If the revealed Thesis contains a valid Thesis Hash Base then the Researcher performing the action has successfully declared dominion over randomness and achieves victory in the current dynasty
As of right now I’m the only Researcher with a valid thesis, and I have that field clear to myself for the next week. It’s not impossible to prevent me from winning but, I mean, maybe this is unfair or a misread but I’m not seeing a lot of will in the room. Unless anyone has a good scam in their back pockets, how about we skip through it and get to the next dynasty?
I get the impression I’d be the only one battling Josh on the function results, and I’d have to keep it up for a whole week to even just cancel out the head start there. Someone can shout up if they’re planning on going for the win too though.
Fundamentally changing the rules of the game because someone you don’t like is about to win is a bit shitty, no?
