The building’s doors creak slowly open, and a government delivery team uses some kind of pole to push a small crate through into the lobby. Carelessly tucked into the plastic webbing is the next crate’s delivery timetable.

Fun unintentional bug: PineTreeQ and samzeman can (and must) now take a second item from the Crate, as taking items from Crates has become “Looting”, and nobody has ever Looted a Crate before now (affecting the “There is no other non-Sleeping Resident who has a higher Priority than the Recipient, and who has not yet Looted that Crate.” checks).
I’ll put up some kind of fix.
Just in case this gets resolved in some manner where I can indeed take an item right now, I take the rope and cractively bind Cuddlebeam’s crowbar-wielding hands.
I think it’s unambiguously PineTreeQ’s turn to Loot the crate right now, as nobody else has looted it, and it’s been their turn for 24.5 hours now.
The proposal to undo any double Lootings was enacted before anyone had done any, so nothing happened and any second helpings will be completely legal, and the Crate will potentially be empty by the time it gets to Card and Diabecko.
In that case as originally I take the rope and cractively bind Cuddlebeam.
If I’m not mistaken it’s not your turn pokes but samzeman for second loot.
(I could have waited until sam timed out but the new arrival has changed my plans :P)
pokes and samzeman have the same priority so I don’t think there’s anything preventing pokes from looting before samzeman.
Ah yes, didn’t see that. Since samzeman looted first earlier I assumed they were necessarily higher.
Cuddlebeam timed out Samzeman at 8:46am. It became and remains Cuddlebeam’s turn to Loot the Crate.
I take the tinned food and use my fulecan to turn the food into a kindling.
For clarity’s sake, Foolish Mortal is now up, with just Kindling left in the Crate. They’ll also be able to claim a Fibreboard for taking the final item.
I took the Kindling, and claimed the Fibrebord, donning it.
I also used the kindling to increase both Card’s and my own Awareness.
I’m sorry to be fussy with a newcomer :) but taking a Fibreboard and wearing it are two separate cractions. We’ve just recently had some rather complicated Call for Judgements stemming from that.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
