Uphold that the most recently completed Arcogenerate was carried out legally. Add the following two words to the word bank Story, Post.
In the rule Backronym, remove the following text:
For the purposes of this rule, the title of a Backronym is the text that its author wrote and does not include autogenerated text by the blog software.
In the Other section of the Keywords rule in the Glossary, add the following entry in the appropriate alphabetically ordered place:
Title
The title of a post is never considered to include, for the purposes of any rule, any text that was automatically generated by the blog software as a result of the author putting it into the appropriate category.
Remove the words ‘Story’ and ‘Post’ from the Favorites of any Wordsmith who has them in their favourites.
A beautiful scam that so very, very nearly worked.
Kevan: he/him
If the most recent Acrogenerate wasn’t legal, we should fix and uphold that. But I don’t think it’s urgent or related that any players who tried and failed to perform a particular scam related to it (possibly just you, if your flavour text is suggesting that you tried it?) should get two Favorite slots back.
It’d be fairer to give everyone the option to drop any two Favorites that they’re having second thoughts about. That should go to a standalone vote rather than being part of an urgent patch - but bear in mind it failed when Trapdoorspyder proposed it last week.
The definition of “Title” here also needs to be more unified with the existing “Subject” keyword, which is trying to strip out prefixes in a different way - it will mean that a blog post’s Title can sometimes be different from its Subject.
