Proposal: Trying to bugfix before the cheese melt thru the reality hole

Withdrawn. Failed by Kevan.

Adminned at 02 Jun 2023 11:21:18 UTC

Adds the following phrase after “Each Mindjacker has a Level, which is a publicly-tracked non-negative integer defaulting to 1.” at Levels of Reality;

Each Mindjacker has a Suspicion, which is a publicly tracked non-negative integer that defaults to 0.

Remove the phrase"Each Mindjacker has a Suspicion, which is a publicly tracked non-negative integer that defaults to 0.” from Reality Enforcers.

I might be wrong, but this lead to inconsistency in the variables that a mindjacker has and may lead to unwanted implications later on.

Level itself is already tierless.
Suspicion isn’t problematic because it’s reset whenever a Mindjacker changes levels anyway.

Levels of Reality is the only dynastic rule that’s allowed to not have a tier, so this new rule would be illegal!

This will be a lot simpler if you simply move “Each Mindjacker has a Suspicion, which is a publicly tracked non-negative integer that defaults to 0.” to be in the “Levels of Reality” rule. That way, the variable exists in all Tiers, but has no effect until Tier 2.

JonathanDark is right that that’s simpler. that said, i feel like this proposal isnt truly in the spirit of “you’re only affected by rules from your reality and those below it”. i think if we’re gonna have new rules pop into existence as you ascend the ladder, we should fully do that, implications and all! so i’ll prolly be voting against this one :0
