It was brought to my mind when I read.

I was thinking earlier (aloud, on Discord) that Blognomic doesn’t really have a standard of evidence for Declarations of Victory—that is, there’s no rule that indicates whether to consider preponderance of validity versus validity beyond a reasonable doubt. But maybe we do have one by convention, given the endings of several recent dynasties: a technical concern is enough to persuade players to vote one way on a DoV, but a different way on a CfJ, as the latter is perceived to be capable of rounding things off or papering over gaps.
