Story Post: Bruce Haggis Review of Recipes

Hearing about the first star ever given out to one of the Cooks managed by the Restaurant Manager, Dominique Labaguette asked and received an invite to be the next Reviewer. He is well known for his, literal, sweet spot of 10 for Sweetness.

This weeks Reviewer, Bruce Haggis, published his results in the newly suggested Reviewer’s Standard Review Publishing Format:

Upon review, Sylphrena’s Spiky Sphere appears to list a Melted Cube in its packages but references a Shouting Man in its place in the instructions. mideg, can you clarify which you used in calculating the final values?

If it didn’t “use exactly the Packages mentioned in its list of Packages in its Steps” then it’s not a legal Recipe.

Boy With Hedgehog x1
Shiny Shoes x1

1. Drain 1 The Bee, wearily.
2. Add 1 Boy With Hedgehog, with misgivings.
3. Apply the Filet Knife, with annoyance.
4. Apply the Chef’s Knife, with increased frustration.
5. Reduce 1 Shiny Shoes, eyes narrowed, veins popping.
6. Apply the Blowtorch until the whole mess is a lump of inert carbon, and despair.

I have made an error. Thanks for pointing it out, Brendan. Since Sylphrena has not provided an Entry Recipe (since an illegal Recipe is NO Recipe), the Rating “Sylphrena | “Spiky Sphere” | * * + - - | Sweetness 8 Sourness 4 Umami 10 Spicyness 4” is invalid and never happened.

I think it’s best not to reveal what of the two possibilities I used to rate since doing this rating was already, strictly speaking, illegal. Revealing more of it would even be more illegal.
