Create a new rule called, “Call the Shots”:

As a weekly action, a Tourist (known as the Host) may buy drinks for any number of Tourists and other GNDT tracked entities (such as Wilson or the Princess). To do so, the Host makes a comment in the GNDT listing the Tourists and other entities that are getting drinks. For each listed Tourist or entity, the Host must spend $10.00 or the action cannot be taken at all. Then, the Host reduces the Stress of all the listed Tourists an Entities by 1. During a period of 24 hours after buying drinks, those Tourists and entities listed may not vote AGAINST Proposals made by the Host.

I like the concept, but I don’t think it’s fair to disallow others from voting against your proposals without their say in the matter.

Well, if they would get a say in the matter, obviously they wouldn’t let you do it!

What I mean is, I might vote for this if the Tourists were allowed to refuse the drinks. That way, they could buy in if they wanted the Stress reduction, but could stay out if they were worried about the effects of alcohol (just as in RL).

and also, if you repropose it, you should also mention something like “The affected tourists are not allowed to change their vote after the 24 hour period has expired.”

against Mostly because I haven’t voted no yet.  But I agree, I don’t like someone getting pushed out of voting.
