I can’t find anything in the Wiki or FAQ about encryption ... and I don’t see any other place to ask about it, so I’ll do it here.  Help?

From rule 7 from Faction GNO’s ruleset: “It is the responsibility of the Demiurge to choose the official encryption method of GNO and to inform the other Citizens of GNO how to encrypt and decrypt proposals.”

Escher, since you haven’t joined a faction according to the GNDT, you wouldn’t be told what the encryption is. Also don’t worry about being confused. Everyone gets confused once in a while.

Ah, that makes sense.  Just so I understand, would said instructions include where/how to do the encryption/decryption, or is there a standard website or software that is used?
