Secure communication

Naturally, there will be quite a bit of extra-blog communication going on during this dynasty, most of which ought to remain private.  I don’t wish to suggest that any admin here would ever cheat like this, but it should be known by everyone that it is _possible_ for an admin to view the contents of email sent to blognomic members with the Expression Engine email console.  Does anyone know if the private message system is safe from admin viewing?  I noticed that the email console always warns you in red letters about the possibility of an admin viewing your message, but the PM console does not.  Also, as an admin, I have found where the email logs are, but don’t see any PM logs anywhere.  That’s evidence, but still, if anyone can definitively confirm that the PM system is safe, I would be relieved.  I know some people don’t like giving out email addresses for fear of spambots or for other reasons, so it would be useful to know we can utilize PMs this dynasty.

My gmail address is my in-game nom-de-guerre at gmail.com.  I think that’s easier than the clunky console here.

In past dynasties, I’ve sent an email through the console saying “e-mail me and I’ll reply to the e-mail with the real message.”
