Create a new rule called “Deathly Quiet” with the following text:
A Guest is not allowed to create, or respond to, any story posts that discusses which Guests may or may not be the Murderers or Detectives if their Status is currently Dead. This rule does not prevent a Guest from voting on a proposal.
Add the following to the end of the function of the roles called “Vicar” and “Spiritualist”:
As a weekly action, the Vicar and/or the Spiritualist may make a story post asking two questions to one named Guest whose Status is currently Dead. The Guest can only answer with the following: Yes or No
Lets try again lol. Dropped the rider, added that dead guests can still vote but can’t make or comment on story posts involving trying to figure out whos a murderer and so on.
Kevan: he/him
This seems a bit toothless, if dead guests can still speculate and share as much game information as much as they like in proposal flavour text, other comments, or on IRC. Either we let them talk as much as they like, or we strictly limit what they can talk about.
The Werewolf Dynasty had a rule that prevented any discussion of information the dead player had learned or deduced while they were alive, which seemed about right. If you’d amassed some data or theories about the other players, you should make sure to share them with someone you trust before you die, rather than being assured that you could just chat about them in a comment thread if you ever got killed.
