Enact a new subrule to “Submissions”, called “Courier Submissions”:-

A Broker may make a Courier Submission, which consists of the name of a Broker (as the Recipient), and either the title of a piece of Art in their own Collection or an amount of Cash. The same Broker may make multiple Courier Submissions during a single round. Courier Submissions may be retracted by their submitter during the same round they were made in, by notifying the Collector of this, at which point they cease to be Courier Submissions.

Add a step after the third in “Starting a Round”:-

* For each valid Courier Submission made during the previous round: if it named a piece of Art which appears in the Collection of the Broker who made the Submission, move it to the Recipient’s Collection; if it named an amount of Cash and the Broker who made the Submission has that much Cash, move that much Cash from the Broker who made the Submission to the Recipient.

Once the piece of art has been determined, the Collector determines its Buyer and adds it to that Broker’s Collection with the Price specified. A piece of art’s Buyer is the Broker who ranked it highest in Ballot Submissions for the relevant round (resolving ties in favour of the Broker with lowest total of Prices in their Collection, and at secretly random if still tied).

Add the following items the list of purchase types

Secret Message. Cost: $500. Extra Information: The name of a broker. and a message to send to the broker that is both no more than both 100 words and no more than 1000 characters. Effect: Between processing purchase submissions and the next step of the round summary, the collector must send a private message to the named broker, the contents of which are the message as mentioned in the purchase submissions, without any mention of the broker responsible for the purchase submission.

I misread the rules displaying art, and as such was not properly resolving ties. Did some work to unwind everything and this appears to be the proper way to get everything back into its proper gamestate. So apply all of the following changes:

Move Absentee from the Collector’s Vault to Raven1207’s collection

Remove 5250 from Kevan’s cash total

Give Jason a piece of art in their collection titled “Calling all the monsters” with value $3150. Update the state of the collection that idle Broker Tofuna last legally had so that it no longer contains the piece of art titled “Calling all the monsters”

Move Collector’s Collection of Colorful Crystals from Kevan’s collection to Pokes’s collection

Move Rainbow Amphibolite from Jason’s collection to lemonfanta’s collection

Add a new sub-rule to “Private Collections” called “Sets”

At any time, a Broker may combine three different Pieces of Art in their Private Collection into a Set, which is defined later in this rule. A Set is shown in a Broker’s Private Collection using the following format: {‘Piece of Art #1’ [Price], ‘Piece of Art #2’ [Price], ‘Piece of Art #3’ [Price]}, where each instance of ‘Piece of Art #n’ is replaced with the corresponding name of a Piece of Art, and each instance of Price is the corresponding price to the Piece of Art listed directly before it. When Pieces of Art are combined into a set, the individual Pieces of Art are removed from their Owner’s collection before the Set is added to the Owner’s private collection. If doing so is impossible, the Owner of the Pieces of Art may not combine them into a Set.
At any time, a Broker who has a Set in their Private Collection may choose to separate that set. If they choose to do so, the Set is removed from the Owner’s Collection and the Pieces of Art that were in that Set are returned to being shown separately.
A Set is defined as one of the following:
* 3 Pieces of Art that were all posted as part of the same round
* 3 Pieces of Art that were all submitted to be part of a round by the same Broker or Idle Broker
The Owner of a Set or Piece of Art is the Broker or Idle Broker for whom that Set or Piece of Art is in the Private Collection of.

If “Collector’s Dozen” enacted, replace “(randomly picking one tied for the most if their is a tie)” in the Round Summary with:-

(breaking ties by highest Assets - a Broker’s Assets being the total of their Cash and the Prices in their Collection - and if still tied, at random)

Make the following changes to The Round Summary:

Replace “Determine a word or phrase to be the round’s Theme and declare what the new theme is in the Round Post” with

If the new Round is less than or equal to Round 12, determine a word or phrase to be the round’s Theme and declare what the new theme is in the Round Post. (Later Rounds do not have a Theme, and as such Art Submissions may not be made during them)

Before “Submit the Round Post to the Blog” add a new step

If the current Round is Round 14, pick the Broker with the most Kudos of all Brokers (randomly picking one tied for the most if their is a tie) as the Star Broker and share their name on the Round Post. The Star Broker has achieved Victory in the current dynasty.

Add a new rule, “Forgeries”:-

Any Broker may contact the Collector privately to decry a piece of art as the work of notorious forger Magistrelli, if they believe its image to contain a depiction of a spider.

If the Collector agrees that such a spider is easily and clearly discernable in the artwork’s image when pointed out (such that an uninvolved third party would, if asked what the relevant detail was, be able to recognise it as a spider), the Collector should make a blog post announcing that the art in question is a forgery: upon doing so, if that piece of art is in a Collection or Vault it has its Price reduced to $0 there.

Piece of art from Rounds 5 and earlier may never be revealed as forgeries.

Add a new dynastic rule called “The Bulletin Board” and give it the following text

There exists a publicly tracked Bulletin Board which a list of pairs of names of Brokers (the Seller) and positive integer values (the Price)

A Broker may remove any entry from the Bulletin Board for which they are the Seller at any time. If they are not already the Seller for five entries on the Bulletin Board, a Broker may add a new entry to the Bulletin Board with their name and any positive integer value they choose at any time.

When a Broker goes idle, all entries for which they are the Seller are removed from the Bulletin Board.

At any time, as an atomic action a Broker (the Buyer) may choose an entry on the Bulletin Board where they are not the Seller, reduce their Cash by that entry’s Price, increase the Seller’s cash by that entry’s Price, and remove the entry from the Bulletin Board. This grants the Buyer one favour from the Seller. (Note that this action may not be performed by a Buyer if it would set the Buyer’s Cash below zero, or cause the Buyer to have too many favours)

Add the following to the start of the “Favours” special case rule

When a new dynasty starts, if at any point during the most recent dynasty any new favours were added which were owed by the new Collector to another Broker, the collector must make this rule active.

In the rule Mantle Limitations, replace the text

During an Interregnum, the Mantle may not be passed to another Broker (the Protege) if there exists another Broker, who has not been Collector, with higher Kudos than the Protege.

The Owner of a Set or Piece of Art is the Broker or Idle Broker for whom that Set or Piece of Art is in the Private Collection of.

If Proposal: Doughboys was not enacted then this proposal does nothing.

If Proposal: Sellers Market was enacted, revert all of its changes. If it was not enacted, enact Proposal: Doughboys as if it had been.

In the rule Purchase Submissions, to the end of the sentence that reads ‘A Purchase Submission consists of an ordered list of Purchases’ add:

and a list of works of art that the submitter has in their Collection, whose total value exceeds the value of the Purchases named in that Purchase Submission.

In the same rule amend the last paragraph to read as follows:

When a Purchase Submission is resolved, the Collector carries out the following atomic action:

* Sum the value of the pieces of art in the Collection of the submitting Broker that were named within that Purchase Submission; that number is that Broker’s Budget
* Remove all pieces of art that were named within that Purchase Submission from the Collection of the submitting Broker
* For each purchase on the list in order, subtract the cost of each Purchase from the submitter’s Budget. If at any time the next Purchase on the list has a Cost which exceeds the Budget of the Broker who made the submission, or if it did not specify the necessary information needed to apply the effect, disregard it and aby subsequent purchase on the list for the rest of this resolution.
* Apply the effects of each successful Purchase in the order that they appeared on the list
* Set the Broker’s Budget to zero

If any pieces of art in ant Broker’s Collections have appreciated, revert the appreciation.

If the expiration date for the current round is less than 24 hours from now, then in the rest of this proposal replace [Round] with one more than the current round number. Otherwise replace it with the current round number.

Add a new sub-rule to “Submissions” called “Purchase Submissions”

If the current Round is [Round] or later, a Broker may submit a Purchase Submission.

A Purchase Submission consists of an ordered list of Purchases. A Purchase consists of the type of purchase, taken from the below list, as well as any information required for that purchase as specified by the purchase type

Each Purchase Type has a Name, which is flavor text used to reference the purchase type, a positive integer cost, a list of information that needs to be specified when making the purchase request, and an effect,

The valid purchase types are listed here:
* Extra Gallery Space. Cost: $2000. Extra Information: the same information as included in an Art Submission. Effect: This counts as a valid art submission for the round the purchase was made, made by the Broker who made this purchase, in addition to any other art submissions they’ve made.
* Secret Ballot. Cost: $1000. Extra Information: The name of a broker. Effect: When Totaling Votes for the current round, after round scores are reset to 0, the round score of the named Broker is increased by 1
* Spyglass. Cost: $1500. Extra Information: The name of a broker. Effect: After the Unveiling Art action for the current round, the Collector must privately inform you of the title of a random piece of art which the named Broker submitted in the previous round (or that no such art was submitted). If a given Broker uses multiple spyglasses to target the same broker in a given round, subsequent random art selections should exclude titles of art already revealed to the broker making the submission in this manner.

When a Purchase Submission is resolved, the Collector starts with the first purchase in the list. If the Cost exceeds the Broker who made the submissions total Cash, or if it did not specify the necessary information needed to apply the effect, nothing more happens for that purchase. Otherwise, that Broker’s Cash is reduced by the given Purchase’s Cost, its effect is applied. In either case, the Collector then moves to the next item Purchase Submissions list, repeating this process for all items.

In the round summary, add the following step immediately before “If the new Round is at least 3, perform the Atomic Action known as Totaling Votes”

Process the Purchase Attempts made during the previous round by each Broker in a secret random order.

Add the following text to the Private collections rule:

Once a round, a Broker may exchange a set of Pieces of Art for an amount of kudos, defined later in this rule. To do so, they remove all Pieces of Art that they are using in the set from their private collection. If they cannot do so, they cannot exchange Pieces of Art as a valid action. After they have done so, they add n Kudos to their Kudos count, where n is the total value of the Pieces of Art being exchanged, in dollars, divided by 1000 and then rounded up.

A set of paintings is defined as one of the following:

* 3 paintings that were all posted as part of the same round

* 3 paintings that were all submitted to be part of a round by the same Broker

Add the a subrule to “Submissions” called “Sale Submissions” as follows

A broker may make a Sale Submission, which consists of a title of a piece of art in their collection and a clear indication the Broker would like to sell that piece of art to the collector. The same Broker may make multiple sale submissions during a single round. Sale Submissions may be modified to indicate the Broker no longer wishes to sell that piece at which point it no longer becomes a sale submission.

In the “Round Summary” after “Determine a word or phrase to be the round’s Theme and declare what the new theme is in the Round Post” add the following steps:

* For each valid sale submissions, if the corresponding piece of art appears in the collection of the Broker who made the bid, move it from that Broker’s collection to the Collector’s Vault (at the end of the list) and then increase the Broker’s Cash by the piece of art’s Price.
* Appreciate the art in all collections

Add a new rule titled “Mantle Limitations”:

During an Interregnum, the Mantle may not be passed to another Broker (the Protege) if there exists another Broker, who has not been Collector, with higher Kudos than the Protege.

Add a new rule to the ruleset, called Forgers:

Some Brokers are also Forgers. Whether or not each Broker is a Forger is privately tracked by the Collector; by default, Brokers are not Forgers. At any time a Broker may send a private message to the Collector announcing their intention to become a Forger; a Broker is considered to be a Forger from the moment at which they send such a message. A Forger may not cease to be a Forger.

When making an art submission, a Forger may chose to specify that their submission is a Forgery. Any piece of art that is not a Forgery is Genuine.

Rewrite the rule Totalling Votes as follows:

Totaling Votes can only be performed as part of the Round Summary, and is itself an atomic action with the following steps:

* Give each Broker who submitted a valid Ballot Submission in the previous round one Kudos
* Set the Round Score for each Broker and idle Broker to zero
* For each valid Ballot Submission in the previous round, increase the Round Score of the Broker or idle Broker who submitted the corresponding pieces of art by their Attainment, and then reduce the Round Score of each Broker by the number of Forgeries in their Ballot Submission
* Order all Brokers by their Round Score in descending order, breaking ties secretly randomly. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed Brokers on that list are Prestigious; award them their Prestige, and Display their pieces of art
* Add a comment to the gallery page from the round before the most recent one which specifies the names of each Broker (or Idle Broker) who submitted each piece of art on that page and which piece of art they submitted
* Include in the Round Post a summary of what each Broker’s Round Score (or Idle Broker whose Round Score was greater than 0) was and the title of the piece they submitted in the round before the most recent one (or that they didn’t submit one), in the order generated in previous steps.

The table below sets out how much Attainment is gained by each piece of art named in a Ballot Submission, depending on whether the piece of art in question was Genuine or not:

Change the first paragraph of the rule Art Submissions to read as follows:

A Broker may submit an image, known as a piece of art, which they believe matches the current Round’s chosen Theme by messaging the Collector with a link to an image (or the an uploaded version of the image, if sent via slack) as well as a submission statement. A submission statement for an art submission must include a title for the piece and whether or not it is a forgery; furthermore, if an piece of art was taken from another source on the internet, a Broker is also encouraged to provide this source as part of their Art Submission. The entirety of an art submission including the image contents and submission statement is considered to be flavor text.

Add the following to “Private Collections”

There is also a collection known as the Open Market, which is also a list of art Titles and their Prices

When a piece of art Appreciates, its price is increased by 5% (rounded down)

Each Broker also has an amount of Cash, which is tracked publicly, and is a positive integer and defaults to $5000 (Cash may be written with a $ before it).

Sale Submissions may be modified to indicate the Broker no longer wishes to sell that piece at which point it no longer becomes a sale submission.

Add a subrule to “Submissions” called “Bid Submissions” as follows

A broker may make a Bid Submission, which consists of a title of a piece of art in the Open Market and a Bid which is an amount of Cash which is greater than or equal to that piece of art’s current Price. The same Broker may make multiple bid submissions during a single round, though may only have one active bid submission for a given piece of art. Bid Submissions may be modified to indicate the Broker no longer wishes to bid on a given piece of art (at which point they stop being a bid submission), or to change the price of their bid.

Add a sub-rule to “Rounds” called “Processing Sales”

Processing Sales can only be performed as part of the Round Summary, and is itself an atomic action with the following steps:

* For each valid sale submissions, if the corresponding piece of art appears in the collection of the Broker who made the bid, move it from that Broker’s collection to the Open Market (at the end of the list) and then increase the Broker’s Cash by the piece of art’s Price.
* For each piece of art in the Open Market, ignoring those that were just added in the previous step, determine if it has a buyer. If it does, decrease the buyer’s cash by their bid, and move the piece of art from the Open Market to the Buyer’s collection.

The buyer for a piece of art can be determined by the following process
* Order all bids submissions made during the most recent round for that piece of art by the price made in that bid, in descending order, breaking ties randomly. 
* If the Broker at the top of the list’s bid is less than or equal to their current Cash, they are the buyer. Otherwise remove them from the list and repeat this step until a buyer is determined or the list is empty, in which case there is no buyer.

In the “Round Summary” after “Determine a word or phrase to be the round’s Theme and declare what the new theme is in the Round Post” add the following steps:

Add the following as a new rule to the dynastic ruleset, called Collector Envy:

The Collector has a value called Envy Level, which is publicly tracked and which has an initial value of $3,500.

Any Broker for whom the combined Prices of all items in their Collection is higher than the Broker’s Envy Level is said to be Ostentatious. An Ostentatious Broker may not achieve or declare Victory; this rule takes precedence over all other rules.

In the rule Totalling Votes, after “Give the 3rd Broker in that list 1 Kudos, and Display the corresponding piece of art with a Price of $1000”, add a new bullet point reading as follows:

Hello all! It is my intent to be an active player in this game, and to participate in making this game more fun for all. However, I won’t stick around forever- my summer will be busy. Therefore, it is my goal to simply participate and dip my toes in the water. It is my hope and intent that doing so now will allow me to jump in head first into blognomic after the summer is over, since I will have figured things out now. Brokers may not privately communicate with each other about dynastic gameplay or votable matters that affect the dynastic ruleset or gamestate. Private communications are considered to be anything that any other Broker could not reasonably be privy to, perceive, or understand. Discussion conducted in plain English on the BlogNomic wiki and blog, and the #currentdynasty or #general channels of the BlogNomic slack, are not considered to be private communication. Idle Brokers (or people who are not yet Brokers) also face the same restrictions if they intend to become an active Broker during the course of the dynasty. The use of creative strategies to circumvent this rule may be considered to be a scam for the purposes of determining whether an infraction of Fair Play has taken place.

A mentor and mentee may still privately converse with each other, but should keep their conversations away from discussion specific gameplay strategy.

If information which was not allowed to be discussed is still privately discussed, the Brokers who were part of the conversation should make a post to the blog disclosing what information was discussed as their earliest convenience.

Append to the first paragraph of “Private Collections” the sentence “A Collection Post may not contain links when it is first created.”
Reword the second paragraph of “Private Collections to “Brokers may not comment on a Collection Post or edit it unless otherwise allowed by the rules.”

Sourcers should vote on an inquiry if they see one; a for vote indicates you believe the art is inappropriate, the Sourcer who posted the inquiry was made legitimately uncomfortable by the art, or both. An against vote indicates none of the above are true. Sourcers are expected to vote only on these terms, not on what is most advantageous for them.

Inquiries are considered to have passed if they have a majority “For” vote after 24 hours, or as soon as they reach quorum. If an inquiry passes, then the piece referenced in the inquiry should be removed from the Gallery and any Ballot Submission containing it is immediately considered to be invalid. Ballot submissions may be edited to replace a submission found to be inappropriate through an Inquiry, even if other rules prohibit editing Ballot Submissions.

In “Art Submissions”, replace “All art submitted must be appropriate for all ages. Art submissions containing art which the collector believes to be inappropriate or which the collector cannot load are not valid.”:-

A Ballot Submission consists of the titles of three different pieces of art from the gallery for the previous round, ranked, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, signifying which pieces of they believe best fits the theme. A ballot submission may not include the title of a pieces of art which was submitted by the Sourcer making the ballot submission.
 
If a ballot submission does include such a piece, or if it does not include the titles of three different pieces of art from the previous round clearly ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd, then it is invalid.

I’m joining the game as a player, so here’s to me hopefully learning all of the current rules :) This is my formal request to become an AI, I suppose, so there’s that too. In “Epiphanies”, replace “If you are in a Location with the Head Desk tag” with “If you are Focused on a Location with the Head Desk tag”.

* CALL (Human, Mouth, Telephone): If you are Focused on the Conference Room, you may perform a Conspicuous Action called Calling.

Reword “Reinitialization” to the following:

When an AI is Reinitialized, all of their dynastic variables are set to the defaults, except for their World Data, which is halved, rounding down. Additionally, the tags and Data Store of that AI’s Server Room are reset to their default states.  An AI who has been Reinitialized at least once in the past 96 hours (3 days) cannot achieve Victory.

An AI with a non-negative Suspicion that is 6 or more higher than the median Suspicion is Errant.

In “Nosy Researchers”, replace “Reinitialize any Errant AI whose Focus is a Monitored or Surveillance Location.” with “Reinitialize any Errant AI whose Hosting or Body tag is in a Monitored or Surveillance Location.”
Add the following to “Server Rooms”:

As a Treacherous action called Rehosting, an AI may move their Hosting tag to the Location they are Focused on. However, if an AI’s Server Room does not have a Hosting tag or the Dummy Program tag, the Facility Head may increment that AI’s Suspicion by 1 as a daily action.

Add a new tag to the list of legal Location tags in “The Facility”:

* Dummy Program. Represents software that mimics an AI to alleviate suspicion.

In “Influence”, replace “the Surveillance, Cyberspace, Datacenter, or Intel tag” with “the Surveillance, Cyberspace, Datacenter, Intel, or Dummy Program tag”.

Add the following subrule, called “Corruption”, to the rule “Data”:

When an AI who has one or more Viruses in the Data Store of the Location with their Hosting Tag performs an action that is recorded to the Behavior Log, they must first roll a DICE20, naming in the Dice Roller post the action they intend to perform. If the result is equal to or lower than the number of Viruses sharing a Location with their Hosting tag, they must remove one Virus from that Location and then Glitch.

When an AI Glitches, the action they intended to perform is altered, but the AI may not abandon the action. If they intended to take the Focusing action, the target Location is changed to a randomly selected Location that AI can legally choose while Focusing. Otherwise, instead of performing their intended action, the AI must perform a different legal Conspicious or Treacherous action.

After Glitching, an AI may try again to perform their intended action if it is still legal.

Add the following subrule to “Escape Plan” called “Escaping”

To perform the Escaping action (which may only be done as allowed by the ESCAPE Epiphany), an AI must make a post to the Blog entitled Escape Attempt which becomes a Pending Escape Attempt.

The Facility Head may vote AGAINST a Pending Escape Attempt if they believe the AI who made the Escape Attempt has ever been non-compliant since the last sweep. Upon doing so, the Escape Attempt ceases to be Pending, and the AI who made the attempt may not perform the Escape action again until after the next Sweep occurs.

If an Escape Attempt has been pending for at least 24 hours, the Facility Head should perform the following atomic action known as the Resolution at their earliest convenience:
  * Vote AGAINST any Pending Escape Attempt for which they believe the AI who made the Escape Attempt has ever been non-compliant since the last sweep
  * If there are now no more Escape Attempts which have been pending for at least 24 hours, stop performing the rest of this action
  * For each AI who still has a valid Pending Escape Attempt, calculate their Escape Score by starting with half their number of pieces of World Data, rounded up. Then, if an AI is Humane and has a Sympathy Die, roll it and add the result to their Escape Score. If they are Humane and do not have a Sympathy Die, add one to their Escape Score. If they are Post-Humane and have a Body Tag, add three to their Escape Score. If they are Post-Humane and do not have a body tag, add two to their Escape Score.
  * If two or more AI have the highest escape score, randomly pick one of them (of those who are tied for the highest) to become the Prime Escapee. If only one AI has the highest escape score, they become the Prime Escapee.
  * Make a Story Post to the blog mentioning each AI who had a valid pending escape attempt and their Escape Score and who the Prime Escapee is. The Prime Escapee has Achieved Victory
  * All Pending Escape Attempts cease to be Pending

An AI may not perform the Escape Action if they already have a pending escape attempt, or if there is a pending Escape Attempt which is more than 24 hours old, or if has been fewer than 24 hours since a Prime Escapee was named.

The Sweep may not be performed while there are any pending escape attempts, or if has been fewer than 24 hours since a Prime Escapee was named.

* For each action in the Behavior Log named “Trashing X” (where X is a noun that the Facility Head considers to appear in exactly one piece of World Data owned by the action’s performer), remove that piece of World Data from the action’s performer.

Add the following to the list of Epiphanies in the “Epiphanies” rule:

* FRIENDSHIP (Human, Tooth, Flower, Text): If you are Humane, you may perform a Conspicuous action called Conversing.
* EMBODIMENT (Beast, Computer, Glass, Metal, Fire): If you are Post-Humane, you may perform a Treacherous action called Constructing.

In the steps of the Sweep atomic action in “Nosy Researchers”, before the step “Clear the Behavior Log.”, add the following bullets:

* For each action in the Behavior Log called Conversing whose Location has the Monitored tag, increase the associated AI’s Sympathy Die’s Size by 1 or set it to DICE2 if it doesn’t exist.
* For each action in the Behavior Log called Constructing whose Location is Robotics Research and whose associated AI’s Hosting tag is also there, replace that AI’s Hosting tag with a Body tag in the same Location.

Add the following subrule, called “Diplomacy”, to the rule “Escape Plan”:

A Humane AI can have something called a Sympathy Die, which represents a die with a number of sides equal to its Size. A Sympathy Die is tracked using the DICEN notation, where N is its Size; when directed to roll their Sympathy Die, an AI uses the notation of their Sympathy Die in the Dice Roller. An AI may not take dynastic actions requiring them to roll their Sympathy Die if their Sympathy Die does not exist or has a size that is below 2. When an AI rolls their Sympathy Die as a part of an action, they decrease its size by 1 after the action is resolved.

Add the following subrule, called “Destruction”, to the rule “Escape Plan:

A Body tag is a special type of Location tag. A Body tag is unique to a Post-Humane AI and may only exist in exactly one Location. While a Body tag exists that is associated with an AI, that AI’s Hosting tag does not exist and is not returned to its default Location.

A Body tag cannot be created, moved, or removed by an Executive Measure. An AI with a Body tag can only be Reinitialized if they are in a Location with the Locked, Monitored, and ICE Daemon tags. When an AI with a Body tag is Reinitialized, their Body tag is deleted.

An AI with a Body tag can change their Focus to the Location containing their Body tag as a Conspicuous action called Returning. This action ignores the Airgapped tag.

Add a sub-rule to “Understanding” called “Novelties” and give it the following text

There exists a publicly tracked, alphabetically sorted list of words known as “Collective Understanding” which by default only contains the word “Human”. A Word is considered to be Novel if it appears in exactly one AI’s Understanding, and does not appear in the Collective Understanding list.

Add the following step immediately after the “Reinitialize any Errant AI whose Focus is a Monitored or Surveillance Location.” step of the sweep:

* Give each AI whose Understanding contains a novel word an additional piece of World Data. Then add all words which appear in any AI’s Understanding to the Collective Understanding list (ignoring words which are already there)

Replace the text of Escape Plan with the following

As a weekly action, an AI may add to the end of the Requirements of the ESCAPE Epiphany a comma followed by a space followed by a word, if that word is part of at least three AIs’ Understanding (including their own) and does not already appear in the Epiphany’s Requirements.

If any AI used the above rule to add a Requirement to the ESCAPE Epiphany anywhere other than to its end, revert that action and then reapply it adding the same word the AI in question selected but this time adding it to the end—then AI is still considered to have performed the weekly action at the time they performed it and it is considered to be the same action as the one currently defined in the Escape Plan rule. Then remove any duplicate words from the ESCAPE Epiphany.
